“The cows are based on Andy Warhol’s silkscreened cow wallpaper, which was installed in at the Leo Castelli Gallery, New York, in April, 1966. Warhol took the repeated bovine image from a book on animal husbandry, where it was titled “A Good Jersey Head.””
